Cardio Theatre wireless receivers require power from one of two sources: CSAFE - you plug the receiver straight into the equipment to draw power, even on self-powered pieces. Non-CSAFE - the receiver plugs into a 110-volt outlet using a "wall bug". Most cardiovascular equipment manufacturers are producing equipment with CSAFE capability.
